The Representative of the Arab Contractors, a major contributor to the construction industry in the Middle East and Africa, arrived over the weekend to explore the possibility of setting up a subsidiary of this company in Liberia.
He is Engineer AmrHafez Mohamed Elselmi, a top executive of the Arab Contractors. During his stays in the country, he will follow-up business discussion with the officials of the Liberian Ministry of Public Works regarding the participation of the Arab Contractors in some re-construction projects and in the efforts to fast track the rehabilitation and renewal of the country's infrastructure damaged during the protracted Civil war.
Most especially his company's aim of participating in on-going reconstruction and rehabilitation work is to enable it transfer technology to its Liberian counterpart.
