Nigeria: Gombe to Build Three Almajiri Schools

Gombe State government says it is establishing four Tsangaya (Almajiri) schools to integrate the Almajiri system with conventional Western education.

This is in addition to the three bilingual schools spread across the three senatorial districts of Gombe.

Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo said this at the end of a one week national camping exercise of the First Aid Group of the Jama'atu Izalatil Bid'ah Wa'ikamatis Sunnah, JIBWIS held in Gombe.
