Kenya: Industrial Park Planned for Nakuru County

Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua has an- nounced an ambitious plan to build a multi-million industrial park in the county. Mbugua said money has already been set aside for the project in which, according to the governor, investors in the county will be given free land.

"As part of our plans of encouraging visitors to the county, we want to create an industrial zone where investors can get free land for their business," he said.

Kinuthia was speaking during the Nakuru County Round Table meeting in Simba Lodge Naivasha which was organised by the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM). The governor said the issue of licensing was a major concern to many investors and promised to address this.
