Nigeria: Uraga Develops N2.2 Billion Abuja Lightwell Garden Estate

A property development company, Uraga Real Estate Ltd (a member of the Honeywell Group) has developed the Lightwell Garden Estate project in Abuja, valued at about N2.2 billion, and has promised to ensure quality and finesse in every detail of the construction of this new housing estate.

UREL, in a statement, expressed confidence that it will deliver the project to time and quality given the array of professional consultants/organizations that have been convened to work on the project. Speaking on this, Mr. Kunle Fashogbon, Director, Property and Facilities Management at UREL, noted that: "the development team comprises in-house professionals alongside seasoned consultants such as architects from AB.DT Partnerships, structural engineers from Viadeux Limited, among others."

Similarly, Fashogbon stressed that a major expertise of UREL is residential housing development. This is very much noticeable in the residential products UREL has delivered over the years, including: The Regent Estate and Princess Terraces Apartments both located in Wuse II area of Abuja. "We will therefore bring this expertise to bear on the new Lightwell project to deliver model residential apartments to buyers", Fashogbon further said.

Centrally located, the Lightwell Garden Estate is 10 minutes' drive from the city centre, in the Utako district within the Phase 2 development plan of the Federal Capital City, Abuja. It borders other developments such as Berger Yard Senior Staff Estate, Customs Senior Staff Estate, and Dove Estate amongst others.

The Lightwell Garden Estate is occupying 1.7 hectares of land and will comprise 55 residential units of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom flats and terrace houses. The estate comes with attractive facilities, which include: a club house, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, dedicated transformer, borehole & water treatment plant, 1,000KVA stand-by power generator, CCTV-enabled security surveillance, a children's play area and ample car parking space. Also planned for Lightwell Gardens is a reception, a service building as well as a commercial block where groceries, confectionery or daily household needs can be purchased.
