Somalia: Turkish Govt to Renovate Public Hall in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (sh.M.Network) the speaker of the Somalia national assembly who had a meeting with his counterpart from Turkey signed an agreement to renovate the public hall in the city.

Mohamed Omar Mohamud who is a member of parliament informed Shabelle radio that an agreement has been signed between the two nations on plans to renovate the Mogadishu public hall which acts as the current parliament house for the government. The renovation will take duration of almost one year as agreed by the two parties.

The Mp added that during the renovation period, Parliament sittings will be held at a temporary place until the project is completed.


The Turkish government is conducting several projects in the country and also promised to rebuild the public hall that is used for parliament sessions.
