Liberia: City Construction CEO Gets Top Award
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of one of Liberia's leading construction companies, City Construction Inc. has been awarded the Outstanding Entrepreneur award of the year 2012. The Africa Watch Newspaper in presenting the award said they have followed works of Mr. Sam Saryon and indicated that they were pleased to recognize him for his dedicated and committed services rendered to the Liberian people and the society respectively.
Africa Watch Managing Editor, Joseph S. Wiah, praised Mr. Saryon for being one of the many Liberians who are providing job opportunities for ordinary Liberians and has therefore won for himself the Outstanding Entrepreneur of the year award.
Mr. Wiah indicated how Mr. Saryon has demonstrated his commitment to the improvement of Liberia's economic growth.
Receiving the award, City Construction CEO expressed how overwhelmed he was with the recognition and promised to remain committed to the cause of people.
Saryon who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the SECURITAS Security Firm, one of Liberia's premier private security firms with the employment of over 400 Liberians from diverse background, lauded the Africa Watch Newspaper for keeping a close watch on the works he has been doing over the time.
The former Chief of Intelligence at the Liberia National Police (LNP) encouraged other Liberians to join the effort of other Liberians by exploring the private sector with objective of creating more job opportunities for ordinary Liberians.
He indicated that it has not been an easy journey, especially when one is operating a Liberian company, but indicated that despite the challenges they will continue to make stride by exploring other avenues so as to create more job opportunities for the common people.
The City Construction boss urged the media to remain committed in the endeavor of providing quality information to the Liberian people and therefore warned against yellow journalism.
